Mozambique belongs to the district of the Polish Embassy in Pretoria, the same one that serves Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The Consular Section operates at 14 Amos Street. The date is set by email, and documents are submitted in person or by post. If the consul refuses, he issues a decision, against which a complaint can be lodged with the Minister of Foreign Affairs within 7 days, through the consul. The certificate is collected in person or sent by post.

A body is carried by a company specialising in international transport of human remains.
