Honduras: the embassy in Panama covers the whole region

Honduras falls under the Polish Embassy in Panama, which also covers Panama, Belize, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Haiti, Nicaragua and El Salvador. A visit is arranged by email, documents can be submitted in person or by post, and the embassy website has a Spanish version. Before documents are submitted we check that copies and stamps are complete, and we inform the family of every step.

In Honduras the civil registry is kept by the Registro Nacional de las Personas (RNP) through the municipal Registro Civil offices, in the municipality where the death occurred. The death certificate therefore has to be obtained from the office responsible for the place of death. With the local certificate we move to the Polish part: the starosta's permit, the consul's certificate and air transport.
