Repatriation from Dominica to Poland

Dominica via the embassy in Caracas

Dominica is served by the Polish Embassy in Caracas, whose area covers ten countries: Venezuela, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago. The embassy's list of honorary consulates includes Kingston, Port of Spain, Bridgetown, Saint George's, Kingstown, Basseterre and Paramaribo, but has no entry for Dominica. There is therefore no Polish consul on the spot who could help straight away.

For this reason the documents go to Caracas in person or by post, and the visit date is arranged by email with the embassy. The consul issues the certificate promptly, no later than three days after the application is filed. Collection is in person or by post at the applicant's cost. We organise sending the documents, contact with the embassy and onward transport to Poland. Local rules, such as which office approves the removal of remains from the island, we do not quote from memory but confirm in your case.
