If your loved one stays at home until the funeral, the refrigerated lid helps keep them at the family home.
What is included
By tradition the deceased often stays at home for one to three days, so family and friends can say goodbye. For this period we hire out a refrigerated coffin lid.
The alternative is the cold room (mortuary), if the family prefers it.
How it works
We confirm the address and how many days the home vigil will last, then agree the details of the hire with the family.
The coordinator stays in touch with you throughout.
