We arrange the transport of remains and ashes to the Republic of Moldova by air or by road, depending on the country, the city and the family's wishes.
What we arrange
Choosing the route and the type of transport, transfer from the place of death to the airport or by road towards Moldova, and the handover in Moldova at the place agreed with the family. Flights usually arrive at Chișinău International Airport (RMO).
From distant countries such as the United States, Canada or Israel, transport is by air. From many European countries, road transport is also possible, and we compare the options with you.
How it works
Each carrier has its own requirements for carrying human remains. We check them for your route and prepare the documents and packaging accordingly. We name flights and dates only once they are confirmed.
By road, the coffin travels with the documents required on the way. We confirm the timeline once we have the documents. It depends on the local authorities, the Moldovan consulate where it is involved, and the transport available.
