What the service includes

Documents in Moldova and the export permit, hygienic preparation of the body, and cold-room storage.

Transport by hearse to the crematorium in Odesa and back, the farewell and service in Chișinău, the urn handed to the family, and burial of the urn with the permit obtained.

Optionally: sending the ashes abroad, a memorial diamond made from the ashes, or the Tree of life service.

Odesa: the shortest road to a crematorium

Odesa is about 180 km from Chișinău, which is about 520 km closer than Oradea (about 700 km). The shorter road means less time on the route, and we hand the urn to the family in Chișinău.

Ukraine is not listed among the parties to the Strasbourg Agreement (1973) on the transfer of corpses, according to the public list consulted on 13.10.2026, so Ukrainian legislation and the requirements of the Republic of Moldova apply. The Republic of Moldova has been a party to the Apostille Convention since 16.03.2007, and Ukraine since 22.12.2003. If a document needs an apostille, we obtain it and prepare the translation.

What stays in Moldova: the death documents, the export permit, hygienic preparation of the body, cold-room storage, and the farewell and service in Chișinău. After the cremation we bring the urn home and obtain the permit for its burial.

The process takes at least two days. The cost is set individually, on request, and at the first contact we tell you which documents need your signature.

Moldova has no crematorium, and Odesa is the nearer of the two cities where we arrange cremation, the other being Oradea. We take in the deceased and tell you which documents are needed.
